Information for the Public In the lobby or area where the passengers enter there are two information booths where passengers can get information on currency exchange, emergency telephone numbers, reservations at local hotels, information on airlines and flights, and general information on Panama. This service is available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.

Supervisors The Tocumen Airport has a team of supervisors whose job is to make sure that the passenger gets the best possible attention during his or her stay in the air terminal. These supervisors also try to ensure that the passengers’ transit through the airport will be fast and smooth.   

Airport Clinic The Tocumen International Airport has a clinic to handle any emergency situation that might crop up involving arriving, departing, or in-transit passengers.

Flight information service The Tocumen International Airport has a closed-circuit flight information system that informs passengers and visitors about the arrival and departure of flights, by airline and destination. This service is provided in both Spanish and English.

Facilities for the handicapped The Tocumen International Airport is making changes to its infrastructure to facilitate access and movement by handicapped persons throughout the installations. The changes to be made to the current facilities involve the placement of signs, access to areas by means of elevators, changes to the public restrooms and parking areas, and the installation of ramps for wheelchairs. Likewise, the new installations in the airport expansion plan will include facilities such as doors that are wide enough to accommodate people on wheelchairs, elevators for vertical transportation, and signs, among others.

Internet and international calls  In the counter area of the ground floor you will find a Business Center of the Cable and Wireless telephone company that provides Internet services, collect and direct-dial international calls, and other types of telecommunication services. Likewise, both coin- and card-operated public telephones have been placed in all of the public and passenger areas.

Public restrooms and waiting rooms Passengers and visitors to Tocumen International Airport have at their disposal 16 waiting rooms and 22 public restrooms located in different areas of the air terminal.

Duty-free stores In the areas for the exclusive use of passengers there is an area of duty-free stores in which passengers can find a wide array of products such as electronic equipment, toys, perfume, and clothing, among other articles.

Food and drink In the public areas as well as in the areas for exclusive use of passengers there are restaurants and bars that offer both national and international fare.
