· Documentation:
o Try to arrive at the airport at least two hours ahead of your flight to complete the required steps.
o Make sure that all your documents are at hand: a passport with a valid visa for the country of destination (if required), your ticket, and a duly filled-out embarkation form.
· Luggage:
o Do not pack in your carry-on luggage any metal objects, lighters, shaving machines or other articles that might delay your passage through airport security checkpoints.
o Identify your luggage with your name, address and telephone number both inside and outside.
o Do not agree to take luggage or packages from other persons.
o Always keep your luggage in sight and do not leave it alone, not even for a minute.
o Do not use briefcases, purses, or pieces of luggage with an alarm system incorporated.
· Security: Articles that cannot be transported
o Weapons and ammunition.
o Any type of poison, including insecticides and herbicides.
o Corrosive products such as acids, bleaches and solvents, among others.
o Flammable products such as fuel, paints, and matches, and flammable or non-flammable gases such as butane, oxygen and propane, incuding diving tanks.
o Fireworks, explosives and flares.
o Oxidants such as sodium chloride and peroxides.
o Radioactive materials.
o Briefcases, purses, or pieces of luggage with an alarm system incorporated..
o Live virus or bacteria.
o Other hazardous substances such as disagreeable, irritating, or magnetized products.
o A limited amount of medicines and some personal hygiene articles such as spray cans, perfumes, and medicines that contain alcohol may be transported.
